The system
When choosing one of our garden buildings you have the option to add a green roof. But if you want to add a green roof to a building you already own, you have come to the right place.
We provide the drainage layer, the fleece underlay and, of course, trays of sedum grown on our family farm. Edge it with decorative stone for a neat, finished look. The system is simple, fast and low-maintenance, and just like everything at Sedum & Sage, it is designed to withstand the modern British climate and last for years to come.
Layer one
Protects the roof surface and holds moisture where the roots need it.
Layer two
Lets excess rain run away freely, so the planting never sits waterlogged.
Layer three
50 by 50cm pre-grown trays that slot together into a blanket of living colour.
